Vodafone women returnship program is an illustration of a societal problem facing women’s careers. In line with societal evolution and women’s development campaigns, we are delighted to witness multinational companies paving the way in promoting women’s employment. Thes companies are taking encouraging steps for women. Not only women who stayed at work but also those who paused their careers to build families.

Vodafone is one of the largest telecommunication companies in the world. Vodafone is initiating a “Returnship Program” for women who left the job market for three consecutive years or more. It is providing extensive training and internships in different fields. Their objective is to help women refresh their skills, keep up with market changes, and learn new technologies.

In fact, global companies have always played community roles. They contributed, in many societies, to education, health, and human capital development.

However, this campaign is not like any others before. It is giving hope to women to be back on track in their professional lives.

The returnship program is a paid internship program for WOMEN who are out of the job market for 3 to 5 consecutive years due to marriage, giving birth, or other reasons.

The duration of this program is 6 months where the woman joins in internship slots.  By the end of the program, she receives a certification of completion and might land full-time vacancies allocated for the program.

The returnees will receive a full-fledged learning journey to bring them back to speed. They will also enjoy the on-premises benefits such as new normal flexibility & nursery.
